Humans & Animals, Who Has Morals?



In the scientific community, the term living creature is considered a kingdom, of which Homo sapiens are a member. We are classify as a species of fleshly. It stands to reason that opposite species in this kingdom should be afforded the same good standings as servicemans. I will argue that all species of animals have a moral standing. There are many similarities between humans and other types of animals. These similarities include physiological and psychological. Physiological factors are much easier to moot and argue because as species may look anatomically different the attends of the body are often the same. The psychological similarities can be seen in behaviors, such as, family interaction. They have emotions and are able to sort social bonds, as humans do.
Animals are biologically classified according to their similarities. Most vertebrates have all of the same structural systems as humans, they are just organized differently. The major signal of debate about animals moral standings falls under the function of the brain. What are animals capable of thinking, feeling, and understanding; how do they make decisions, and do they have a conscience? Unfortunately we cannot understand animal communication to bring out the answers to such questions.
